Jesus asked Peter three times if he loved Him, because Peter denied Jesus three times; volitional ( decision ), agape ( unconditional ), affection; are the three kinds of love; Jesus was asking Peter to commit his life after he repented; let TODAY be your day of total commitment to Jesus, if you have been struggling,; not for salvation, but for fellowship reasons; ( Jn 21:15-17 ) God bless!
