For the sake of the elect ( saved people ) who have made Jesus Christ of Nazareth their Lord; the Lord will shorten their days, of God's enemies desecration of the temple; why doesn't God just stop it; HE HAS A PLAN!; affliction ( grief, persecution ) is not part of the atonement ( Mk 13: 15-20 ) God bless!
