Jesus was telling the disciples that they were blessed ( complete happiness; blissful; joy ) to finally see what all the old testament saints were prophesying about; this Messiah has come, and was before them; Jesus lives today as well, in the hearts of believers; ( Lk 10:23-24 ) God bless!
