John wrote in this book speaking a way people back in that day could understand, Word - came from a Greek word logos ( new testament is translated from Greek ) meaning - soul of universe, where everything came, creator - in Hebrew ( old testament is translated from Hebrew ) Word, means God's action, revelation; so the words of the Bible are spirit ( Jn 6:63 ), meaning Jesus IS the Word, meaning Jesus lives today by the word of God, which is live in a christian s life spiritually!
