- The conclusion I came to is Biblical times does not relate 3 days 3 nights to 72 hours like us today;
- Hebrews count evening to day ( Gens 1 ) as 1 day, not midnight to midnight, so it would be like us calling 8pm, or sundown to 6am, or sunrise 1 day;
- Matt 12:40; Esther 4:16, both use 3 days, 3 nights, but both have those 3 days, 3 nights terminated on THE THIRD DAY!, according to ( Lk 13:32 ), and ( Esther 5:1 ); Esther called a 3 day, night fast 4:16, but appeared done with fast on third day 5:1;
- Jesus was crucified on preparation day ( Jn 19:14 ), which is on Friday ( Mk 15:42-43 ), and found on the first day of the week, Sunday ( Jn 20:1 )
- So Friday 1, Saturday 2, rose of Sunday 3!
- The bible does not specifically speak on this, but matching scripture the answer is no

- God's discipline ( Heb 12:5-11 ), and pruning ( Jn 15:1-3 ) are both done through His word ( 2 Tim 3:16; 1 Cor 10:6-11; Jn 15:3 ) God is a Spirit, and after Jesus, deals with us, through our spirit ( Jn 6:63; Heb 12:9 ); His word does all the disciplining we need!
- A parent disciplines their child by words, yes you might eventually, SOMETIMES get to a physical spanking, but parents discipline through words, so does God through His word; the physical discipline comes from US, NOT listening to His word;
If sins don't affect our nature, reborn spirit with God, what does sins affect?
- ( Eph 5:5; Gal 5:19-21; 1 Cor 6:9-11 )- All say lists of sins, that you can't inherit, or be an inheritance in God's kingdom; Inherit, means you will not posses the things of the kingdom, in your daily life; Inheritance means, people of that NATURE ( Eph 2:3 ), not an act, example- just because you commit sins, don't mean your a sinner; a coveter, is different from someone who commits an act of covet; ( Rom 8:16; 1 Jn 3:9; 2 Cor 5:17 )- say, our reborn spirit, is perfect, can't sin, and is our new NATURE, in Christ; Which means, When you become a new NATURE, which is MADE from God ( Eph 4:24 ), if you commit acts of sin, your soul, and body is affected ( Rom 6:1-9, 15-16 ), but spirit is not touched ( Eph 1:13; 4:30 )
- Since this is true, what's the point of living holy, and right?, Answer, because you reap what you sow, everything has consequences ( Gal 6:7-9; Rom 3:23; 6:16 )
God repenting? ( Jonah 3:9 )
- Repent is just a turn, change of mind, so God repenting is always right to right, never wrong to right; In Jonah's case, it was judgment to mercy! In other words, God warned them, and they listened;
Was Israel in bondage 400 years ( Gens 15:13 ), or 430 years ( Ex 12:40; Gal 3:17 )?
- God prophesied in ( Gens 15:13 ), that they would be AFFLICTED 400 years; ( Ex 12:40 )- emphasized that they JOURNEYED 430 years; Only conclusion is, the 30 years not accounted for must have be NON- AFFLICTED years;
Scripture not clear of subjects- example- coffee, cigarettes, cremation, etc;
- When scripture is silent about subjects, use ( 1 Cor 6:12; 1 Cor 10:23 )- All things are lawful, but don't pursue things if they are not edifying, or don't be in bondage to nothing;
