The rabbits, and eggs, and other things that has been added to Easter ( Resurrection Day ) are not the focal point; honestly I would care less if my kids even had a Easter egg hunt; the point is Jesus died, and rose on the third day, and it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief,  ( Isa 53:10 ) God bless!

Jesus is equal to God, and is God; but He humbled Himself to the limitations of a human; to be obedient to God the Fathers will and die on the cross; Then rose on the third day, proving He was God; now EVERY knee will bow to the name JESUS ( Philip 2: 6-11 ) God bless!

Fear God not man ( words of Jesus )

Don't fear man, for they only hurt the body, but God has the final say so for eternal life; fearing God will guide you to all truth, and peace, and men have no eternal say so; so don't fret ( Matt 10: 28 ) God bless!

Sheep among wolves ( words of Jesus )

We are to find a balance between wisdom, and vulnerability in doing God's work; have discernment, and be sensitive to the Holy Ghost; we are in the midst of all kind of evil, but we have the Holy Ghost for protection, and guidance ( Matt 10: 16 ) God bless!

Respond to Gospel (words of Jesus )

Those that reject the gospel after hearing it; will be worst off than the people of Sodom and Gomorrah, so respond to people spreading the gospel ( Matt 10:15 ) God bless!

Big harvest; few workers

Jesus is looking for workers who know how to deal with people, and not get easily shaken or moved by the challenges of life; be prepared to be used by God ( Matt 9:36-38 ) God bless!

Mercy not sacrifice ( words of Jesus )

Obedience is far better than sacrifice, He's not satisfied with gifts, or offerings; like baptism, and the Lord's supper,these things are good, but they mean nothing doing them with a empty heart; He wants us to love, and follow Him; He wants us to be merciful regardless of background, past, gender, money, etc; EXCEPT EVERYONE is what God wants, and continue to accept them in their un perfectness, this is not a popularly contest, so stay merciful, and obedient to God ( Matt: 9: 13 ) God bless!

Command healing

Notice when Jesus healed the Paralytic; He didn't say a prayer; He said ARISE TAKE UP THY BED; so when you need or speak healing for someone COMMAND in Jesus name ( Matt 9:1-8 ) God bless!

Speak with authority

When Jesus casted out demons while He was here on earth, He spoke with authority, and power; for example, when you kick someone out of your house, you say it like you mean it, and command them to do so; same thing with casting out demons, command, and speak with authority ( Matt 8: 28-34 ) God bless!

Sleep during trials

All the other apostles were scared, confused, worried, etc during the storm; Jesus was SLEEP during the storm; how many of you are sleep during, hard times, storms, in your life; it's during those tough times that we need to put faith in God into practice ( Matt 8:23-27 ) God bless!

No excuses ( words of Jesus )

Family priorities, job, career, etc should not be placed above following Jesus; because Jesus will provide all the things you need to take care of priorities anyway, so Jesus doesn't want us putting anything before Him, the decision to follow Jesus should never be put off, what are you putting before Christ ( Matt 8:22 ) God bless!

Rock or sand ( words of Jesus )

Can you imagine building a house on sand; it would sink pretty quick, well if you read this blog, listen to your or a pastor, listen to dvd's or cd's of God's word, and don't put it to practice, it's like building a house on sand, so hear the word, and then DO the word ( Matt 7: 24-27 ) God bless!

Walk not talk ( words of Jesus )

People talk a good game, but their walk indicates that they don't have a relationship with Jesus; Jesus is more concerned with what you do than what you say, so live for Jesus by your actions, not by what you say you are ( Matt 7: 21-23 ) God bless!

Tell by fruit ( Words of Jesus )

False prophets come to you sounding, seeming, correct, but Jesus said you can tell them by their fruit, meaning; are they producing good fruit; are they preaching love, and not killing people; or are they preaching love, and not condemning you for how you dress, look, smell, etc; are they about themselves, or others; are they treating their family good, are they money hungry or not; these are some examples of good fruit; bad fruit, so pay attention to who you follow or listen to, and test the prophet to see if what he says comes true or not - Deut 18: 22 - ( Matt 7: 15-20 ) God bless!

Narrow gate ( words of Jesus )

People the gate is narrow, few find it; I don't know about you but I want to be part of that few; many find the wide road to destruction; Jesus is that way to God, and in this world that means not fitting in with the things of the world, so you might not be popular following Jesus; choose which road today; drop your pride, and follow Christ ( Matt 7: 13-14 ) God bless!

God gives ( words of Jesus )

Sinners, unbelievers, know how to give gifts to there children; So God knows how to give gifts to His people; Think spiritual gifts; love, patience, mercy, wisdom, etc, that God gives gracefully; even though God gives material gifts as well, start spiritually, and grow trusting God, then other things will begin to happen ( Matt 7: 7-12 ) God bless!

Don't judge ( words of Jesus )

When you judge someone, you will be judged with the same measure you judged. Receive people how they are no matter background, education, gender, race, etc, all of us are working on parts of our lives, so no one has room to judge others; have wisdom not to criticise others ( Matt 7: 1-6  ) God bless!

Seek God FIRST (words of Jesus)

It's been said worry shortens peoples lives because it becomes unhealthy to the bones, and flesh. God makes sure animals eat, and keep shelter, so people are of more value to God; so don't worry. People in some other countries are in unfortunate situations, so it's up to people who are doing well to HELP people that aren't, but God promises not to worry IF you seek Him first ( Matt 6:25-34 ) God bless!

Treasures in Heaven, not here ( words of Jesus)

This goes against EVERYTHING this WORLD teaches you; Don't be concerned about the things here that will pass away one day. It is o.k. to have things, and enjoy life as long as you're doing it in God's providence, but let your heart be concerned with Jesus, and blessings will follow; where your treasure is your heart is ( Matt 6: 19-21 ) God bless!

Secret fasting (words of Jesus)

When God calls you to fast, it shouldn't look like your fasting; you shouldn't walk around looking hungry, tired, or like your struggling, and you don't have to announce it either; Fast to please God, not to be seen ( Matt 6:16-18 ) God bless!

God forgives; you forgive (words of Jesus)

If you expect God to forgive you; you have to forgive others with the same measure you expect to be forgiven; so measure how you forgive to how you want God to forgive you ( Matt 6: 9-15 ) God bless!

Don't pray for appearance, to be seen, but pray with the heart, and praying doesn't have to be long; If you have much to cover that's fine, but don't babble ( repeat vain words; not from the heart ) on just saying words; God knows what we want, and our thoughts before we talk, so stay on point, and from the heart ( Matt 6: 5-8 ) God bless!

When you give to the poor, or do any other good deed; don't do it to be seen, but do it knowing God sees you, and that's all that matters ( Matt 6:1-4 ) God bless!

If you love people who love you what reward does that have, that's conditional love, not unconditional love; If you love your enemies that is once again supernatural ( Matt 5:43-48 ) God bless!

Don't get even! (words of Jesus)

Eye for an eye was meant for Judges to fit the punishment with the crime ( Lev 24;19,20 ) Jesus wants us to love people who do us wrong; not keep score, and pay people back; this is  SUPERNATURAL behavior ( Matt 5: 38-42 ) God bless!

Followers of Christ do not have to make an oath or a vow saying you promise about things; your word should be enough; this is why telling the truth is important; giving a oath knowing you're not going to keep it is from the enemy ( Matt 5: 33-37 ) God bless!
