Is Halloween harmless?

Some churches have a harvest festival, this time of year is a time to reap what you have sown and thank God, and they do that not on the day of October 31; Fear, and lots of candy, are not things I want to be reminded of, so it's what is Halloween reminding you of, is the question you ask yourself, as a believer, and it's not up to other believers to judge others; examine YOURSELF to see if you are in the faith; ( 2 Cor 13:5 ) God bless!

New garment, old clothes ( words of Jesus ) PARABLE FRIDAY!

Nobody would put New clothes on old, or new wine into old bottles, because neither would agree with the other, you can't mix religion, man's rules, with Grace, secular with christian, flesh with spirit, etc, they won't agree with each other; people stuck, and comfortable in their old ways, would say change is not better; ( Lk 5:36-39 ) God bless!

Satan's authority over ( words of Jesus )

Satan use to have authority, and be able to approach God, about you, everything that you did wrong, you can find this in ( Job ), but since Jesus came, and paid for our sins, as a believer, satan has no more authority over you, he is cast down, Amen; ( Jn 12: 31 ) God bless

Audible voice ( words of Jesus )

This was another time God spoke with a audible voice from heaven, but people with their hardened hearts, and carnal, natural mind, point everywhere away from the fact that's it's God speaking; same today, people do this with creation, eternity, truth, etc, when it comes to God; open up your heart today, God lives, and he wants to talk with you daily; ( Jn 12:28-29 ) God bless!

God's plan uncomfortable ( words of Jesus )

 God's will is uncomfortable for you , if you are truly FOLLOWING him, because we live in a fallen world, and opposition will arise, against godly people, as they get God's word across this world, are you responding to your troubled soul, because of people's reactions to you, or are you about God's plan ( Jn 12: 26-27 ) God bless!

Love life lose it; hate it keep it ( words of Jesus )

He that hates his life, ( his desires, and life doesn't matter compared to Christ ) in this world, will keep it into life eternal, ( Christ working in you, and a abundant life now, then carries over to eternity ), but he that loves his life now ( flowing with the flow of the world, and it desires ) will lose it, ( will not enjoy the peace, health, prosperity, through God, which carries over to gifts in eternity ); ( Jn 12:25 ) God bless!

Word of the day!

The word was written for our learning, so that we everyday can seek, and meditate on scripture, until we have a comfort level of it, that we are able to put all of our hope into it; Jesus is the word, He is the source of the word of God, a Spirit God the Father, Jesus has made available His thoughts to us humans, the word of God is spirit, so to be like Jesus, is to know the word of God, and NOTHING is impossible for God; ( Rom 15:4-5 ) God bless!

Why parables? ( words of Jesus ) PARABLE FRIDAY!

Jesus said He speaks in parables, because there are mysteries given unto us from God, that only comes from Him, and people have eyes, and ears, and can't see, or hear, or understand, because it takes the help of the Holy Spirit, it understand parables, from God's point of view; You are blessed, believers, take advantage of that ( Matt 13:11-16 ) God bless!

Must die for others to be helped; ( words of Jesus )

Jesus had to die, and rise for others to live, because the Holy Spirit lives in believers everywhere, by way of Jesus death, and resurrection; same, if you die to self, more Jesus, less world, others will be blessed; ( Jn 12:24 ) God bless!

Lazarus come forth ( words of Jesus )

Jesus spoke to the dead, and commanded it to come alive, same today speak to your problem, and take authority over your situation; God heals today! ( Jn 11:43 ) God bless!

Thanked before action ( words of Jesus )

Once again, Jesus thanked God, before He did a miraculously thing, He thanked, and talked faith, saying Lazarus was sleep, not dead for the glory of God; have faith in God by speaking scripture, and thanking God, while circumstances don't agree so; ( Jn 11:27-41 ) God bless!

The resurrection ( words of Jesus )

Martha said unto Jesus, that Lazarus will rise again when he gets to heaven, Jesus was saying that He is the resurrection, and Lazarus will rise again today, now, he will be raised from the dead; don't allow satan to still from you, and roll over, and die, and say " they will be healed in heaven" which is true, but God has healed today, and He has plans for us now; ( Jn 11: 11-26 ) God bless!

Sunday!

Today is a day of gathering together in unity of the faith, edifying each other, and coming together using our gifts; attending a church where the Holy Bible, 66 books, old, and new testament is the only book; Jesus died, and rose from the dead believing body; God bless!

As a baby desires milk, we should desire the word of God, so we can grow spiritually; ( 1 Pet 2:2 ) God bless!

Dragnet ( words of Jesus ) PARABLE FRIDAY!

It's rains on the just, and unjust Matt 5:45, so God's kingdom lets the saved, and unsaved live together, when the time is come for the angels to gather good, and bad fish, then that's when that will happen; ( Matt 13:47-50 ) God bless!

Time to see; ( words of Jesus )

Jesus did work, ministry, during the day time so people could see, just showing that time of day is valuable to use to get work done, speaking of His humanity while on earth; Lazerus was sleeping, not dead, and Jesus went to do the work of the Father while still light, so others could see; make value of your time today ( Jn 11:9-11 ) God bless!

Sickness, then healing glorify God ( words of Jesus )

Satan is the author of sickness, whether it be he binds people Lk 13: 16, or because of this fallen world, 2 Cor 4:4, the god of this world, so Jesus used this time to glorify God, in raising Lazarus from the dead; Same today, God gets the glory, when we are healed; ( Jn 11:4 ) God bless!

Divine authority ( words of Jesus )

The rulers of Israel had divine authority to set judgment on people, that's why Jesus called them gods ( Ps 82:6 );then if the scripture can't be broken, then the same scripture says that the Father sent the Son (  Ps 2:7 ) , then that must be true as well, that He is the Son of God; ( Jn 10:34-36 ) God bless!

Jesus is God ( words of Jesus )

Many works Jesus did, and He announced Himself as Son of God, a term that all the Jews knew meant equal with God; people today should understand from scripture, that Jesus is who He say He is, but religious people of that day, just like today, have a hard heart, and want no part of Jesus; ( Jn 10:32-33 ) God bless!

A wise steward, ministers, was ruler over his household, believers, and will receive his portion of meat,( meat to endure everlasting life, Jn 6:27  ) to eat in due season; ministers of the gospel have alot more required of them, but every believer can use this parable as good stewardship, and the more you learn, much required until Jesus comes; ( Lk 12: 42-48 ) God bless!

Sense the Father gave, those that are saved to Jesus, meaning once your heart is receptive to the Lord, He gives you the faith to believe in Him, then , because He is above all, NO man is able to pluck you out of His hand, Salvation is all God, once YOUR heart is receptive; ( Jn 10: 28-29 ) God bless!

Sheep once again, believes; ( words of Jesus )

The people were wondering if Jesus was the Christ, and Jesus said the works He does, He does to glorify His Father, and if they, or you were sheep, you would know the voice of the Shepherd; meaning if your heart is receptive, then you will know that Jesus is the Christ; open up your heart today to the voice of the Shepherd;  ( Jn 10: 25-27 ) God bless!

Know sheep ( words of Jesus )
