They arrested Jesus as if He were a criminal thief; if it were today, they would have came with guns drawn , helicopters, and dogs, with a warrant; Jesus didn't deserve this treatment; would YOU respond as a believer like so with an injustice act; ( Mk 14:48-49 ) God bless!

Spirit ready, flesh weak ( words of Jesus )

Your spirit is ALWAYS ready, joyful, healed, peaceful, happy, excited, etc, your flesh is going against that, and wants to throw a pity party, and complain, etc; so stay in the word to know what your spirit is, so you can train yourself to be controlled by your spirit, and not your flesh; ( Mk 14:38 ) God bless!

Jesus praying in the garden of Gethsemane before he was to be betrayed, and persecuted, did not want to go through this, but still prayed that the WILL OF THE FATHER  be done; same with us today, how many of us don't FEEL like doing something, but do it because it's God's will for it to be done; ( Mk 14: 36 ) God bless!

Jesus words was that peter would deny him three times; MY opinion is that Peter denied Jesus, but repented; I believe Judas could have repented as well; As long as you have breath, it is not to late to repent, and turn to Christ, and have a change of mind; ( Mk 14:30 ) God bless!

Satan thought he was killing, and destroying Jesus, and it looked bad at first, but it was all God's plan, that it would look bad, but turn out good; same thing with life circumstances today; keep in faith, and things will turn out in the long run good; ( Mk 14: 27-28 ) God bless!

Last supper ( words of Jesus )

Just as the Passover meal celebrated the deliverance from slavery of Egypt; the Last supper celebrates deliverance from sin by Christ's death; ( Mk 14:22-24 ) God bless!

Betraying heart ( words of Jesus )

Judas made a CHOICE, he was not a puppet of God's plan, God knew his HEART would not be for Jesus; as all the other disciples besides John abandoned Jesus, but repented; Judas was a thief ( Jn 12:6 ); Judas betrayal was part of God's sovereign plan ( Ps 41:9 ); Judas allowed his desires to place him in a position where Satan could manipulate him, as he tried to return the money; maybe he was trying to force Jesus hand that Jesus would not rebel, and set up a new political government; How sad that Judas ended his life, and didn't repent; Judas was never saved ( Jn 17:12 ); ( Mk 14: 20-21 ) God bless!

Jesus had to have been God; how many of you would eat your last supper with the person who would betray you; train yourself to love like this daily; ( Mk 14: 13-18 ) God bless!

Sacrifice something precious ( words of Jesus )

Mary was worshiping Jesus with the utmost respect, love, and devotion, and she was willing to sacrifice ( the oil ); what was most precious to her; are you willing to sacrifice what is most precious to you for Christ; money, house, car, t,v, etc; ( Mk 14: 6-9 ) God bless!

Here's some questions to ask to penetrate false teachers; 1. Have their predictions come true, or do they have to revise them to fit what has already happen; 2. does their teachings utilize a section of the bible to neglect the whole bible; 3.Are the practices glorifying them or Christ; these are some things to ask yourself, to not be deceived; ( Mk 13:22-23 ) God bless!

For saved people's sake ( words of Jesus )

For the sake of the elect ( saved people ) who have made Jesus Christ of Nazareth their Lord; the Lord will shorten their days, of God's enemies desecration of the temple; why doesn't God just stop it; HE HAS A PLAN!; affliction ( grief, persecution )  is not part of the atonement ( Mk 13: 15-20 ) God bless!

Abomination that causes desolation ( words of Jesus )

This is the desecration of the temple by God's enemies; this happen repeatedly in Israel's history, and also will happen again with the anti-Christ; Jesus urges His followers to be watchful and prepared for his coming; be faithful to Jesus, and you will be ready for His return; ( Mk 13: 14 ) God bless!

We don't have to be defensive or fearful about what to say when witnessing for Christ; the Holy Spirit is there to counsel us; be bold for the Lord in these last days; ( Mk 13:11- 13 ) God bless!

Persecutions ( words of Jesus )

Persecutions might not be happening that often in the U.S, but we Christians should pay attention to other countries, and their persecutions, and intercede; Persecutions are an opportunity for Christians to witness for Christ to those opposed to them, these persecutions serve God's desire that the gospel be proclaimed to everyone; ( Mk 13: 9-10 ) God bless!
