It's not what goes in a man that defines him, but what comes out; Right diet, not smoking, drinking, etc, are good for your body, and you reap what you sow ( Gal 6:7-9 ), so you sow good diet, not destroying body with smoke, drinking, you reap good health; The lust, hate, evil thoughts, greed, etc, come from a man's heart, and those are the things that defile a person, is what comes from the heart; Encouragement- The things God tells us in His word, are for OUR good ( Deut 10:13 ) God is not mad at you and loves you, so much that He is willing to forewarn you that if you keep things up, you will destroy yourself; ( Mk 7:19-23 ) God bless!

Post of encouragement; Do you not perceive? ( words of Jesus )

Jesus told the disciples, do you not perceive, do you not understand?; In other words, you need the Holy Spirit to understand the Bible ( 1 Cor 2 ); You can't understand with intelligence, intelligence can help you explain to different cultures, etc, but you need the Spirit of God; Encouragement- as a believer, YOU HAVE THE SPIRIT AT ALL TIMES, if not believer, you can make Jesus Lord by a simple decision right now! ( Mk 7:18 ) God bless!

Word of the day!

You can build your life on a sure foundation of God's word; Do God's saying, and it's like building your life on a solid foundation; None of us would physically live in a house built on sand, but when you live your life, NOT according  to the word of God, that's what you are doing spiritually; ( Matt 7:24-27 ) God bless!

PARABLE FRIDAY! Fig tree prolonged; ( words of Jesus )

This man came to see that the fig tree, had not produced anything, and it was asked to be cut down; In consistency with scripture, Jesus interceded for Israel to see if they would bear fruit; God is all knowing, but His mercy, had saved Israel as a whole from being wiped off the earth; Application today, God has saved you from things YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT, and most are complaining about little things; ( Lk 13:6-9 ) God bless!

YEAR IN THE GOSPELS; Not what goes in, but out; ( words of Jesus )

Its not what goes into a man that defines him, but what comes out; Most get religious, and think what you eat, etc, is what defines you, but it's the words, that correspond with your actions, that come out of your heart, , that defile you; ( Mk 7:15 ) God bless!

YEAR IN THE GOSPELS; Make word of not effect with tradition; ( words of Jesus )

People make the word of God of no effect by traditions, and man's doctrine: You can know scripture, and pray a lot, but if you hold on to your family, denomination, childhood, etc traditions, it will make what you know of the word of God, of no effect; ( Mk 7:13 ) God bless!

YEAR IN THE GOSPELS; Never alright; ( words of Jesus )

Moses wrote in the law, to honor parents, and don't curse or be put to death; Obviously in the new testament, nothing is never that extreme, but the religious people tried to justify not honoring parents, by saying, if the Child is benefiting the parent, then it's o.k. to basically disrespect your parents; Example- if one of your parents had to move in with you, that doesn't give you the right to dishonor them; Its always God's will to honor your parents, God honors that, whether they are right or not; He didn't say AGREE, He said honor; ( Mk 7:10-12 ) God bless!

YEAR IN THE GOSPELS; Laying aside God, you do man; ( words of Jesus )

In laying aside God's commandments, men do their own traditions; Most cults, Morman's, Jehovah witnesses, Seven day Adventist, etc, are NOT, of God, Not born again according to a DIFFERENT gospel that saves you, that's extreme; More mild, is denominations, Lutherans, Baptist, Presbyterians, Catholics, Methodists, etc, that some, or many, may be born again, but have all these EXTRA doctrinal things, that are not of God; Anyway you look at it, God's commandments, the Holy Bible, ALL OF IT, is all you need to follow God; ( Mk 7:8 ) God bless!

Word of the day!

You are what you eat; God's word is like food; You feed your already full spirit, which is where the life of you is as believers ( Rom 8:10 ); So you sow to your spirit, by the word of God, and your spirit, begins to be dominate over your soul, and your life reflects who you are in your spirit; ( Jer 15:16 ) God bless!

PARABLE FRIDAY! Four grounds! ( words of Jesus )

This is the four kinds of ground, heart, that the seed, word of God, fell on; wayside, stony, thorny, good; Only one out of four hearts, became fruitful with the word of God; Sound familiar! ( Matt 13:4-8 ) God bless!

YEAR IN THE GOSPELS; Vain worship! ( words of Jesus )

 All kinds of denominations, to a mild degree, cults in a more serious degree, and religious, man made commandments, many have, that don't line up with scripture; These things are in vain, have no truth to them; Seek the word, and you will know these vain traditions; ( Mk 7:7 ); God bless

YEAR IN THE GOSPELS; Hypocrite vs bondage; ( words of Jesus )

Hypocrites are people that talk a good game, and their words don't line up with their actions; They serve God with their lips, but their heart is far from God, the Pharisees of Jesus day; Bondage, is being deceived, believing a lie; You are not professing to be a way, that your heart is far away from; Drug addicts, etc, not active in church, ministry,;( Mk 7:6 ) God bless!

YEAR IN THE GOSPELS; Considered not miracle; ( words of Jesus )

The disciples were in trouble, and Jesus walked on water to help; They were afraid, and basically didn't believe it was him; The Bible says, for they considered not the miracle that had just happen with the 5 Loaves, 2 fish; Jesus has saved, and done miraculous things for you before, He can do it again! ( Mk 6:46-52 ) God bless!

YEAR IN THE GOSPELS; 5 Loaves, 2 fish miracle; ( words of Jesus )

The disciples knew 5 thousand people were getting hungry; They wanted to send them off into the city to get something to eat; Jesus said, no tell them to stay, and we feed them; Disciples thought they should buy everyone meals, tells you they had money; Jesus, instead did a miracle, and multiplied 5 Loaves, and 2 fish to feed 5 thousand; God is no respecter of persons ( Rom 2:11 ), substance miracles are available for anyone who believes; ( Mk 6:34-44 ) God bless!

Go gather with a local church body, if they are preaching the WHOLE truth ( Heb 10:25 ); Or pursue your own leadership role as a leader in the body, and live by the gospel, outside of local church walls ( Eph 4:11-13; 1 Cor 9:14 ), or support a ministry outside of church walls ( Phillip 4:14-19 ); To get this gospel to the world, but the gospel is not in word, it's in POWER! Word of the day!

God says in His word, thank God without ceasing, BECAUSE the word works for those who believe; Most would make a carnal, surface list of things, house, car, job, etc, which are good to be thankful for; But, God, through Paul, wrote we thank Him without ceasing, because the WORD works; ( Thess 2:13 ) God bless!

PARABLE FRIDAY! Wise steward; ( words of Jesus )

This parable again is about stewardship; We as believers are stewards to what's God's; God uses money a lot to relate to stewardship ( Lk 16:1-13; Lk 19:12-27 ), etc, but we are also stewards to His grace ( 1 Pet 4:10 ), and responsible for how we handle what is God's; ( Lk 12:42-48 ) God bless!

YEAR IN THE GOSPELS; Come rest privately; ( words of Jesus )

Jesus told His disciples to come rest for a while, privately, in some desert place; Your desert place can be your home; Use your residents as a place of private time with God, to rest, with reading word, prayer; ( Mk 6:31 ) God bless!

YEAR IN THE GOSPELS; Anointed with oil;

The disciples went around anointing people with oil, and healing the sick; Oil in the old testament symbolizes Spirit was upon you ( 1 Sam 16:13 ); Priests anointed ( Ex 28:41; 29:7; Kings anointed 1 Sam 9:16; 10:1; Prophet's anointed 2 Kings 19:16 ); New testament, oil is used for healing here, and ( James 5:14 ); Just like, laying hands ( Mk 16:18 ), prayer clothes ( Acts 19:11-12 ), etc, oil to heal is an act of faith to be released; The healing is not IN the oil, but the fact that you release your faith THROUGH the oil; ( Mk 6:13 ) God bless!

YEAR IN THE GOSPELS; Handle business; ( words of Jesus )

The only application I take from this at this point is wherever you go, grocery shopping, mall, vacation, is never a vacation from being an ambassador for Christ, and spiritually available for God's business; ( Mk 6:10-11 ) God bless!

YEAR IN THE GOSPELS; Could not, not would not!

Jesus COULD NOT, not WOULD Not, do mighty works in His home town, because of unbelief; You'll have to go to my Divine health, healing, deliverance page for more, but unbelief and believe CAN present at same time ( Lk 8:50 ); believe is the word, unbelief is not the word, it can only be believe present for the power of God to flow; It says except healed a few sick folks, so like I said before, either them sick folks was not considered mighty works, or them few sick folks were the only ones with belief; Some say they were healed, even though they didn't believe; I've heard that from Curry BLake's healing meetings, and Kathryn Kuhlman healing meeting; My point is, if you don't believe WHY, WHY, WHY, are you at a healing conference; Point, there has to be some degree of belief from the person receiving, God has dealt to EVERY MAN, not just believers, THE measure of faith; ( Mk 6:5-6 ) God bless!

Word of the day!

In Heb chapter 4 it talks about a person that has entered into God's rest, rest in what He has done; That rest is, knowing His word, and letting it be the intents of your heart, and discernment of thoughts; ( Heb 4:12 ) God bless!

PARABLE FRIDAY! Talents ( words of Jesus )

This parable is also in Luke 19, and they both compliment each other in the since of it names people that served Him, and didn't ( Lk 19:14; Matt 25:14; 30 ) so my point is I believe the servant sent to hell was the own citizens, Jew, who chose not for God is reign over Him; The other servants, it's about doing something with what God gives you, money v 27, or the gospel, and God gives more, STEWARDSHIP!; ( Matt 25:14-30 ) God bless!

YEAR IN THE GOSPELS; Own house, town not known; ( words of Jesus )

Jesus said a Prophet, etc, is not known in His own town, kin, household, etc; Family, certain people, for whatever reasons, just see you as brother, husband, wife, son, daughter, etc, and won't receive you as Pastor, Prophet, Teacher, etc, because they know you as this person they grew up with; Jesus went through this as well, people seeing Him as a carpenter, not Prophet, etc, Just continue on listening to God, not them; ( Mk 6:4 ) God bless!

YEAR IN THE GOSPELS; Command; ( words of Jesus )

Jesus again, told people to leave, and only brought the parents of this girl in the room with Him to pray; Others were mocking, laughing, etc, full of unbelief, there is something to Jesus seeking solitude when praying, it is biblical; Not saying every time, but use wisdom; Jesus then commanded her to rise, NOT asking God to do it, you do it , and command what you want; ( Mk 5:40-41 ) God bless!

YEAR IN THE GOSPELS; Watch words; ( words of Jesus )

Jesus sought solitude, at times , only certain believers could be present when He was ministering healing to people v37; Jesus refuse to say what the situation was, He said what He wanted ( 2 Cor 4:13; Mk 11:23-24 ); Faith speaks, and calls those things that are not as if they were ( Rom 4:17 ); ( Mk 5:39 ) God bless!

YEAR IN THE GOSPELS; ONLY believe; ( words of Jesus )

Jesus heard people talking unbelief, saying the girl is dead, why trouble; same with us, when you get revelation on God's truth about healing, you will begin to condemn words of unbelief ( Isa 54:17 ); You can have fear, and belief at the same time, which throws off belief; belief DOESN'T override fear when both are present; There needs to ONLY be belief to receive from God when laying hands on the sick; ( Mk 5:36 ) God bless!
